The advanced planetary gear reduction design delivers powerful cranking torque and efficient starting performance for large diesel engines. Compared with conventional direct-drive starters, gear reduction technology offers a compact, lighter-weight design while maintaining the high starting torque required for demanding heavy-duty applications.

This starter features a movable Integrated Magnetic Switch (IMS), providing flexibility in electrical connection positioning, and Over-Crank Protection (OCP), designed to help protect against excessive cranking.

The rotatable drive-end housing provides additional installation flexibility for compatible mounting arrangements.
